Default Stock rebuild dilema

I just bought a 01 Cherokee that had a blown engine. After tearing it down I found a broken piston in #4 and hope I can sleeve that cylinder as the pan was full of antifeeze and it looks like the wall has a crack from the piston running up it broken. My real question is the head. It is a 0331 head and does not have the TDPY foundry markings on it but has a build date of 05/01 on the door. The head has a WJ stamp towards the front of it under the valve cover. Is this the head that is sure to crack or did they have good heads made before they got them elsewhere? with such a late build date I have to wonder. Any advice is appreciated.. this is all new to me...lol

Start new, that's way too much problem to fool with.
