im switching from a hp d30 to a lp d30 (yes, down grading, kinda). i am also doing a 2 inch stretch on the front axle.
my d-shaft has come up about 2 inches short of working for me even though i heard you didnt have to extend it when doing this stretch.
i have heard the a lp d-shaft is longer than a hp one but have never confirmed this.
can someone get me the length of a d-shaft in a lp d30 equipped cherokee? from t-case u-joint to pinion u-joint....and the length of slip still showing? or fully compressed length(from u-joint to u-joint)?
i have been researching this all night to try not to have my front d-shaft lengthened....d-shaft D.O.M. is fn expensive!!!
