Default Stock fog light fuse problem?

I used my stock fog light wiring to install some kc lights on the front of my xj. the little light on the switch lights up but there is no lights on the front. fuse problem? traced the wiring and as far as i can see the wire is good. dont want to unravel the bunch at the fuse block though. Where is the fuse? and do you think this is even the trouble?

Anyone figure this out. I'm having the same problem with my '91. They worked for the 6 months I had them and just the other day quit. I'm thinking it's a fuse somewhere I just don't know where. If anyone knows where the Fog Lamp Fuse is located it would be a big help.

I was looking at a Grand Cherokee diagram. It looks like a complex wiring system to me. Not sure if it is the same as an xj.

The fog lamp relay shows a fuse F4 in the power distribution center. This fuse and wire is the power feed for the fog lights going thru the power pins of the relay.

There is another fuse F10 in the PDC. This fuse feeds the head lamp switch. From the head lamp switch a wire goes to the head lamp dimmer switch. The dimmer switch, when in lo beam, powers the fog lamp relay control circuit. The circuit goes back to the head lamp switch where it has to ground to turn on the relay. I just do not see how this is done.

Any way, check your relay socket to make sure all the wiring is there. You may have a connection missing. If possible, do a voltage test before and after the fog switch to see what you have.

Here is a simple fog light wiring schematic in case you want an alternative. The relay is a common automotive relay.

It was the relay, Drivers side close to the front, just ahead of the washer bottle

ya I was having Problems also with mine, I changed the relay nothing. But then it still had no power so I ended up just rewiring the lights to the switch.

I see the washer bottle but what does the relay look like and how do I access it? I followed the wires from the fog lights and found the ground but the wires lead into a bigger bundle of wires in one of those plastic wire protecting tubes that go off somewhere else.

So it's this? Do I unscrew it from the wall to open it up?

Yea I just have to find it. I thought someone may know of the exact location. There is another relay/fuse box next to my coolant reservoir but it doesn't have anything in it that has to do with Fog Lamps. Neither does the one on the inside of the driverside by the pedals.
