I Have a 00 Cherokee Sport. It just got revived and is in working condition.
But its still at the shop. And I was looking at it. And it seems to still have the stock muffler. So im wondering what the pipe size is. So i can order a glasspack for it. Oh also the length of the muffler if you could answer that.
Can I Use flex pipe if i decide to Straight pipe It? Just to make it easier on me. And my wallet

Probably so and the pipe may need some bend in it as the stock muff is center in (after the cat) and offset out (into the tail pipe).

You are going to have problems if you got 2" I think. The stock muffler is 2.25" ID so it slides over the 2.25" OD cat. Also if it is 25" instead of the 20" you may need to relocate the exhaust hanger that is after the muffler attaching to the tailpipe since you will need to cut some of it away, if you are using the old piping. I am not sure how close that hanger actually is though, so don't take my word for it.

Then what's the diameter of the case? Getting 2" in/out for 2.25" exhaust is kind of a duh, no? I forgot, u got what u paid for.

Share your crayons man! So they don't make a 2.25" and you just have to buy 2" and expand it yourself? I made the decision to replace my exhaust so I upgraded to 2.5" with no regrets.
