Default Stock Electric Fan Constant Run

I saw a thread on another forum where a guy wired his stock fan to run constantly how did he do this and is this safe on the alt and fan? My jeep has been spewing water and coolant the last few days and want to get it to run cooler

Hi, you can run a hot wire from the fan to a switch and turn it on whenever you want. I did this and have no problems. I ran a wire from the fuse box ignition to a switch and to the green wire on my E fan...Tj

^^^^a diagram maybe? this does not sound like it would bypass it turning on by itself

You will need to cut the green wire and run it to a switch, not keep it inline. I will try to draw something up for you and PM you...Tj
