Angry Stock dashboard install help please!

Well team I messed up big time. In an effort to fix the old air box on the jeep i'm restoring and get some hot air into my cab, I got myself into a pickle not knowing how to route the wiring harness and defrost lines in order to get the dashboard to mate back up with the firewall.
I've given it some effort without crushing anything and there's just too much resistance and it won't sit flush as needed to ensure proper venting and placement plus route the wires for the dash.
I've searched the Internet high and low and while there are tons of instructions and videos out there on how to remove the dashboard and redo the air box, I can't find a good comprehensive guide and diagrams that show how everything is supposed to fit back behind the dash factory style.
I would appreciate any help and insight from the community that you might be able to give me as I've been stuck on this for a few days and with temperatures dropping out here, the motorcycle isn't always the most convenient mode of transportation! Thanks in advance!

Supporting pictures below to illustrate where I'm currently at, the dash just isn't seating right.

Your best bet may be to pull a dash apart at a junkyard.
the air tubes pretty much only have enough length to work one way. The vacuum lines and stuff should roughly want to sit where they use to be. Any kind of misc wire just make it work don’t overthink it.

I appreciate your input...you might be right that I'm overthinking it however I have tried so many different ways to get it to fit back in and it's just not seating all the way. There's gotta be something I'm routing wrong that's pinching.

Well forums, I think I figured it out! Took a long time to finesse but the dash is back in, for such a 'simple' dash compared to my other cars, this one turned out to be a PITA but as long as I didn't pinch a wire everything should be back to factory now; with hot air! Thanks!
