Stock Cherokee Injector Numbers for RENIX
So, I am upgrading to 703's and just pulled the old injectors. I have 2 different kinds in there. 2 of 956s and 4 D3800BA's. They all still are 1 hole injectors, but the hole size of the 2 are a touch bigger then a single hole in the 703's. The other 4 have HUGE holes.

No wonder why my economy was rubbish. 12~13mpg.
The 2 53003956 injectors appear to be stock RENIX injectors doing a Google search.
Doing a search for the D3800BA injectors, the other 4, nothing on Google. Maybe some Chinese POS? They look very similar, but do have their noticeable differences. The 4 are also a lot newer as they cleaned up very well. These other 2 must be original injectors.
The stock injectors you can't even fit 0.5mm pencil lead where the fuel comes out, but on the other unknown 4 injectors, you can easily fit 0.9mm pencil lead in there, maybe even 1.1mm pencil lead.
Hopefully these new 703's will get me in the 17~20mpg range.

The one on the left is a stock RENIX injector. 2 of these were installed in the front 2 cylinders. The rest had the injector on the right.
It seems like a lot of people get a 2mpg increase, I hope I get like a 5mpg increase with how fat that injector hole is, and 4 of them were squirting.

this size of the injector hole doesn't mean it "squirts" more fuel.. it all depends on the injector size from what i have been reading... both those injectors are the same size or flow the same rate... now if are at all clogged in some sort of way they will not "squirt" the right amount of fuel and it will have to compensate into other cylinders making your gas mileage go down the **** hole.. have you changed your fuel filter at all there is would be my first thing to do for gas mileage a little clogged filter will restrict some MPG... try that and yes having two different style injectors will infact change the mpg too..
