On my 2000 Cherokee I'm getting ready to rebuild the front end this weekend except for the axle u joints. Last year had the axles out and while checking the joints noticed they were greasable and did not appear to be stock and felt to be in great condition. Were the stock one greasable? Thanks

 

no. stock spicers were not greasable. i prefer the non greasable kind myself. they tend to be stronger and last longer. and joints are easy to replace.

 

Thanks that's what I was thinking that some one had previously replaced them.

 

If a person drives through streams often ...having the ability to grease them might be worthwhile.
