Not a smart thing to do,, but remove your rear driveshaft, put it in 4 high,, Take a quick test ride and see if it still shakes, if it does,,, then the driveshaft is ruled out.

To remove rear shaft.. simply remove 4 bolts at the axle end, and slip it off the yoke,, DONE

don't forget to wrap a plastic bottle around the TC tail or you'll lose all the fluid...

when we first got my jeep we looked it everything was fine or we though. bf and i went for a drive somewhere and he said something was wiggling in the back. thought it was a rim. he put it in the air and it definitely wobbled. he went to the junkyard to pick up a new rim cause we thought we had a bent one. guy working suggested checking the axle and that it might be bent. bring it back to him and whatta ya know axles bent. we completely overlooked it... just a suggestion cause i start to shake at about 65 and you can hear it with the windows open

ok so im taking out the rear drive shaft and putting it in $ hi with a bottle in the tc so i dont lose fluid?

yup cut the neck off the bottle and wrap it with tape around the TC tail.

im thinking its axle shaft. cuz i just called my buddy that was in my passenger seat and he didnt feel it in his seat. My gf too also thinks im nuts cuz she doesnt feel it on her side
