Still over heating!!
People please help me out. I'm more frustrated that I haven't figured it out yet. But here's the propblem. I have a 98 xj. It over heats when I'm sitting still or at slow speeds. I've changed, tstat, water pump, fan clutch, all coolant, radiator and temp sensor. What am I missing. As soon as I start movi by and get about 30mph it starts to cool down. Driving 45+ it's usually just under 210. Sitting it creeps up and sits around 220 then will go into the red with enough time. Also this is my first jeep. Love it but, damn lol.

Have you pressure tested the cooling system or tested the coolant for the presence of oil? And you changed the fan clutch so I assume you tested the fan afterwards and the fan is working right?
