Hello, I have a 1996 Jeep cherokee 4.0 H.O. and I have tried to replace my battery cables. I stripped the starter motor lead wire off the old + cable, the smaller green wire, replaced the + and - and I get nothing, no lights no door buzzer the motor does not turn every thing is dead. What did I do... Any tricks?

Sounds like it might be a ignition problem...

Grab a test light or multimeter and make sure that you have voltage going to your underhood fuse box. If that is good test voltage at the starter then test your grounds.
