Default Steering wheel dead spot

I have a 2001 Cherokee sport, it has a RE 3.5 with the RE trac bar. Trying to see if anybody knows how to fix this problem, It seems like my steering wheel has like a dead spot. As in there is a section of the steering wheel where moving it left or right has very little effect on the actual steering.

Would this be something with the steering box or something else? What could I do to fix this so the steering is tight again?

It could be several things,What I would suggest is have someone turn the wheel and watch all the components, from the steering box out to the tires,it should be easy to see,it could be the steering box, bushings, ball joints, when you lift them the worn parts show up.
