i have a new currie steering system that i want to install, i am going up to 4.5". my questions are will any drop pitman arm work with system? how much of a drop do i need for 4.5" of lift? i was looking at the rubicon express arm but they told me that it only has about a 1/2" of drop???? i havent been able to get a real strait ansewer can anyone out there help?

you can use an arm off of a grand cherokee zj i believe not sure on the drop i beleive its 1 inch drop

 

The ZJ pitman arm is a 1 inch drop. I would not go any more than that with a 4.5 inch lift. Any more of a drop and you will need to relocate the trac bar bracket to correct the steering geometry or end up with some ugly bumpsteer.

 

its not that you "need" a drop pitman arm. you just want to match the angle of the draglink to the angle of the tracbar.
