Okay, So when i turn the wheel all the way to make a tight turn my front end hops like its in 4wd on dry pavement. I feel like when i turn like that i am damaging something. Can anyone help me figure out whats wrong with my steering? Could the tires be rubbing on the control arms?

Okay ill do that today. Do you think if they are shot there would be a metal on metal sound because I am also trying to trace what makes that sound from my front passenger side

Sometimes the turning stops get out of adjustment and let the axle turn to sharply. This will let the u-joint bind and cause a jump or stutter when turned all the way. Get a friend to help you check it out by turning the wheel all the way to the stops one way then the other while you check the u-joints for binding. If it is binding it is easy to adjust the stops.
