ok, just bought an 98 xj with rustys 8"la, bilst shocks and 36 iroks. i just got done looking everything over and tighten every bolt and set the tow. and you have to white nuckle it going down the road at any speed over 20 lol. there is no sway bar.

do i need some radials? sway bar? i would like to make it a little more road worthy.

radials would be a great improvement but be sure your caster is reasonably close, Caster is what makes it want to stay straight and makes the steering return to center after a turn.

iroks+no sway bar+ poor caster adj.= all over the place...caster is the angle of the ball joints (to put it simply) makes sure your upper balljoint is behind the lower....if you draw a line from center of the ball joints it should go like this \...if the upper is straight over the lower or in front of it you have to adj. the lca's forward and/or make the uppers shorter....a kit like that should be all adjustable
