What does this mean? I drive 200 miles a day for my work. For the last 10 years. I'm just over thirty and logged several million miles under my belt. First accident was when I was in college and a deer ran into me... Second one I was the passenger and when the bag randomly went off and my friend hit a tree. The Volvo was smashed by a bunch of teens in an Audi... I've owned dozens of cars all with high miles that I put on them... Any other insight

The airbag wheels are neat (granted) but I have the whole column sitting in my other Jeep, and I'm not one to be wasteful. I would also lose cruise control completely because the wheel has the cruise buttons on it. Not so sure I would be able to relocate it to the dash that easily... I'm pulling the 94 column anyways to strip the old Jeep and send the shell to the scrapper. Plus both interiors are grey and I rather liked the feel of the wheel the 94 had. It just seems silly to by more when I'm pretty confident I can make this work

Actually, as the owner of your vehicle you can remove the air bag wheel and install a non-air bag wheel. But shops are not allowed to do so to your vehicle. The flip side of this, is that if you do this and get in a wreck and your vehicle is supposed to have said air bags that insurance can decide to not pay, etc. The Grant steering adapter kit (3196, IIRC) that says it works for 94-down will work for 95-up XJ's. A friend of mine installed a Grant wheel in his 99, using this kit. mod to the clock spring may be required.
