steering column
Well im quite sure this a recurring question!!!...my tilt steering on my 88" xj ...well is SUPER tilt steering!!!....i believe trhe tilt broke, and the wheel moves all over the place, and everytime I turn,..everything shuts off. I need help with a manual of removing the steering wheel, and column....etc.. oh and I also have to lift the steering wheel up to start it!!!!....PLEASEW HELP!!!....thank you all...mike

You have to remove the steering wheel, the lock plate, and turn signal switch to get to the three little screws that are causing the loose floppy column. You will need a screw driver (Philips), puller set, lock plate depresser, and maybe a torx for the three screws.
