For some reason or another, My headlights and blinkers started flashing when i turn the key. When the key is off i can hear a clicking inside the dash like the blinkers are on (but they arent). I pulled the headlight fuse to keep it from doing it for now until i can figure it out, i have no clue as to why its doing it.
Also it wont start now, not sure if its related but it started and ran fine yesterday, no clicking until this afternoon. (it needs a tuneup but it started and ran fine yesterday, WTF) it will sputter and act like its gonna start, then dies in less then 1 second.
Any help will be appreciated
if you need more info, just ask
edit: just so nobody asks, i checked all the idiotic things people dont check, hazards, headlights, blinker switch, All of them were off.

did you for any reason disconnect the battery? Some have a factory security system that need to be reset after a battery disconnect.
Just put the key in the door lock and turn it back and forth a few times.
Worked for my 91 Limited.

X2 Any time there's a loss of power, (ie. dead battery, disconnected battery, etc.) The first thing you'll hear is the alarm try to sound off. (if low on juice, it will be a faint intermittent buzz, or clicking).. Just lock/unlock drivers door with key. I also found out the hard way a few years back.

You changed the lock cylinders?
Was/were there any wires connected to the backside?
If not, turning the key on the driver's door may not work.
The trigger switch for the factory alarm is clipped to the end of the lock cylinders. If the switch popped off and was not re-installed with the new cylinders, the alarm system can be activated via the electric door locks or by a battery disconnect-reconnect but you will be unable to dis-arm it.
BUT the hatch lock should be fine (if you didn't replace it)
Use the hatch lock.
If the lights were flashing and you did not disarm the alarm system, it will stop the ignition from firing.
Put the fuse back in, reconnect the battery, allow the lights to flash, go to hatch and turn key both ways (twice is good) the lights should stop flashing, and it should fire up.
Our 91 has the alarm and the switches will not stay attached to the lock cylinders (bad retaining clips), so everytime I work on it and have to disconnect the battery...I have to go and do the above procedure.
