Default Steering box clicking sound

When I move the steering wheel to the right about an inch I hear a clicking sound from the steering box. I can keep moving it back and forth and it clicks. Loud. Steering box is about 6 months old. Anyone know what that is?

Have the bolt heads mounting the box pulled through?

No i checked it out. Bolted on tight. I think the sound is coming from inside the box.

BUMP. I'm having a similar issue. Any update on this?

Sure its from the box and not something else with the steering. You made sure even the stabilizer isnt loose. Just saying

Yea I have the same problem with my 99' sport. I can't find what's making the sound. But it's definitely coming from the steering box area. It started after I put in my camber correcting ball joints, (P.O. abused and launched it), but it's not a clearance issue with the hub.

Yeah, I've tightened the stabilizer, checked all rod ends, tightened the bolts for the track bar mount, tightened the bolt on the track bar, checked all control arm bolts, and checked shock absorbers. Nothing fixed it yet.
