Default Steering box brace

Is this Brace actually going to help anything?

And is it worth doing it?

I would hate to pay $65 for what amounts to a metal rod.

That one seems really cheaply made I would make one. Would be cheaper i'm sure.

The silver clip on the end looks as if it would be suitable for attaching a small bell to a girls bike, nothing more.

I would think it depends on how high a lift you've got on your jeep. I have a 6in lift and absolutely need one!

i have a 7" custom long arm setup but got mine when i had 33" tires. i broke the gears inside my first steering box with a 3" lift and 33's, now i have 35" tires and it works great. no more turning the wheel while the tires don't move, you will notice it more then you think. i have the same one and love it. the only thing was i had to drill the back right hole myself, no big deal. definitely worth it.
