Default 1997 jeep cherokee, multi lifting questions

Hi, I own a 1997 cherokee sport 2 door with stock axles. When I bought the jeep it came with a 3" rough country suspension lift. Since then I put on 2" coil spacers in the front and 2" lift shackles for the rear. I would like to lift the vehicle further but buying a whole new lift system would be pricey.

Right now my plan is to put 2 or 3" axle blocks in the rear of the vehicle. Would this put extra stress on my shackles? these are my shackles

The front is where I am much more confused. I would like to swap out my 3" lift coil springs for 6.5" ones. I would like to know what suspension parts i would have to replace if i planned on doing this (Pitman arm, control arms, track bar, etc.) mainly which ones are neccesary and what is optional. Right now I believe all my parts are stock. lift i have

Thanks for all the help guys

Doug

I would not buy the lift blocks they can be big trouble! Especially when you are already lifted. I have searched high and low to peice together a lift kit but by the time you find all the peices it is cheaper to buy a ready made kit unless you can find the parts used for a really good deal.

I would just wait and buy a kit if you wanna go 5 or 6 inches. Im right about 4 and I didnt buy a kit and IM having to buy alot of parts. Look at Rubicon they make a really good kit. Just remember you get what you pay for.

if you go over 4 inches, you best bet is to get a long arm kit. it's very pricey, but well worth it. articulation of a short control arm stresses almost all of your components. including your steering box.
