when i start it it revs like i have my foot to the floor. and it idles high alot now. it used to be intermitant, sometime idle high and sometims start with a high rev. its getting to be a pain. i have recently cleaned my iac deal but it might be going bad. any other ideas?

 

check for vacume leaks intake gasket hoses EGR. spray tiny amounts of brake clean on suspected areas' while it's running and the idle will drop for a second when you find it. Thats were I would start.
