Hey,

I'm new here. I'm a Dutch owner of a Cherokee XJ 4.0 from 2000.
I'm chasing a weird intermittent no-start. I hope someone can help me.
Every morning I have electrical starting issues. Starter always cranks strong, but it won’t start.

When it happens:

• No fuel gauge
• No volt gauge
• No fuel pump prime
• No relay click

But the dash lights up and starter works.
I assumed the PCM doesnt get power, so I jumped 12V directly to the PCM fuse, then everything wakes up immediately:

• CEL on
• Relays click
• Pump primes
• Starts right away

Once running, it drives perfectly. And after a short run it works for the rest of the day. But next morning, PCM not waking up again...
I assumed the problem might be in the PDC or relais. Swapped relays around, no change. But everytime I want to look for the electrical problem, it suddenly works again so I can't measure any voltage when it's not working...

I hope anyone has some advise on this.
