starting problems
I've had this problem ever since I had the xj...when I turn the ignition over sometimes it starts up...other times it sounds like its trying to start but its rough...hard to explain...if I try and turn it over again it will start up...if it hasn't been started in a few days and I start it up and rev it up it sounds like it is missing (like its gonna die) then it will be fine...could this be a bad plug??

Since I've got you hear maybe you can assist me with this: I get a slow temp creep at idle but at 20+ mph temp goes back to normal...fans are working...should I have the radiator flushed?

most idle in temp probs are clutch fan related when it up to temp the fan should be stiff to turn when motors hot by hand with motor off of course, flush wont hurt another issue with the older xjs are the crappy closed cooling systems when the cash is there upgrade to the open system from 91 and up
