how do i tell what axles i have? dana 30,35,40 or the 8.25
what other ones are there and what are the best?

you'll more than likely have either d35 or chrysler 8.25. going kinda pricey on the lift, aren't you?

 

thats the same lift i just bought. it should be here on the 8th.

 

it is really pricey but i have friends that say rc's or rustys arnt that great.. ill never know untill i try em.. >.< from what ive read elseware on this forum the express kits are really nice..

I have RC and i can tell you, it's great. never had experience with Rubicon Express though.

 

that kinda dough id go old man emu. They are best ride for the buck and i have never heard one bad word uttered about them.

and if you go with the doestchs they are cheaper off of there site then what they are listed there. and for some reason the last 2 sets of shocks i got from them seem to be an inch shorter than what i was after. (not dt 3000s)

 

you probably have d35.

 

i will look more into it.. mabey i will go with rc's cuz of the price.. ill shop around a bit more and see what i can dig up..

mine is RC 4.5, but it's hybrid. it rides wonderful on the road. the only part that sucks is the shocks. i got the nitro 9000 and then i found out that they suck. if you get the RC kit, try to get the hydro 8000 or 9000.

 

i think most rc kits come with hydro 8000 shocks.
