So I went out and bought a new IAC because my old one was so gunked up, and it looks a lot different than the one in it now.
Should there be a big difference in the replacement IAC or is one of them the wrong one? The old one is long with a smaller end, the new one is short with a bit bigger end. they checked twice at autozone and verified it is the right one they sold me. Why are they so different?

Yeah I used about 30 q-tips with the best stuff I could get my hands on (MAF censor cleaner) And once they started coming out somewhat clean, I stopped. It was really caked on in there, thought for sure i had it fixed, then it started bad and wouldnt start w/o throttle the second time. however it did idle twice in a row on its own when i let off the gas very very slow lol

Well sorry for all the questions again and again before I finally got to look into my issue.
After all that, I took my throttle body off today and it was really gunked up inside. Cleaned it up, put it back on, and it is running flawless and smoother than before. Going to run some fuel injector cleaner through twice or so since I assume my injectors took on some of the gunk that was there.
Thanks for all the help, glad my fix was free lol
