Current battery is 1.5 years old, I had it checked at AZ because it was starting slow about 2 months ago then while out , it didn't start at all. My ignition switch by- pass (which was a chronic non starting issue) didn't do anything, sometimes it blows the 20 amp fuse and I have to replace it; but this time I thought it was my battery, I put it on a charger and pull the poles , cleaned them wiggle the red wire (I use to do this when not starting and then it would...) but my battery is still good and the charging system also good....
Question: What other things could trigger a non starting issue; this time the t urning the ignition on several times not even panel lights came on and when it did also several times the jeep didn't even click-click like the the starter goes...! I believe my mechanic changed their battery cables some years past, but they look pretty old right now. Also the pole brackets that hold the cables to my battery are old and I needed to tighten the screws that hold the cables because they were loos (any ideas where I can find good ones?).

Based on your description your electrical system is trash. Get these.
