Default Starting issue...

Ok The engine fires up runs for two seconds, dies... I can hear all your sighs from here so read on... lol

I have read up on all the forums, did not want to start a new thread but want to throw this out there before I spend the $50 on the new CPS...

I have checked and ok'd the following....

Battery - good
Batt cables - good
fuel pump relay - good
fuel pump - working order
ignition - good
auto shut off relay - good
ballist resistor - good
connections to the ballist resistor - cut back wires cleaned up - good
alarm - good (disarmed and it still did the same thing)

so im left with the CPS, I un plugged it all together turned over the engine...it didnt even try to start... plugged it back in cranked right up and died...

I have taken the CPS out and am about to break down and buy a new one just wanted to see if I have checked everything before I spend the money... ohh and Im not quite sure on how to do the OHMs test thing maybe someone can be want to be more specific on that...

Thanks guys
