Wait. Isn't that the connector that plugs into the blue wire?its coming from the a/c compressor. It's 2 wires on the compressor then plugs into the one blue wire.

Maybe? I don't know AC systems well. I mainly do motorcycles. Is the AC compressed the thing above the alternator? If so then yes. If thats the case what is the silver cylinder on the passenger side firewall the AC lines go to?

Ok so the plugs done match up but its also a 96 ac compressor if that is the compressor. Would I be able to use the 96 compressor or do I need a 99+ one?

The cylinder I think is the drier. Yes that is the compressor and I'm not sure about 96 but I know the 98&99 are different than 01. Never checked if the plugs are different. Not sure if you could just clip the connectors off and use a different one. Pretty sure all it does is energize the coil on the clutch to engage it. Only other thing idk is if the connectors for the pressure switch will work. Might be better off with an a/c delete pulley unless you really want a/c.

Figured it out. Blue wire does go to the compressor. Luckily the compressor plug was still attached to the blue wire plug. Easy splice. But i will have to wait and see if the lines will work with the 96 compressor. If they do not, what do I do with the lines from the fire wall? any thing regarding the condenser/rad I should know about or block off, etc.
