Default Starter, alternator, or something else?

Within the last week, I noticed the jeep was getting a little slower to start each time.

It had initially acted up awhile back (around Feb/March) but after I left it alone for a day it started right up normally again.

Anyway, I thought that it would be the battery but I had my doubts at first because first the voltage indicator on the car was still good (don't know how accurate that is) but regardless the battery was still under warranty so I went and changed it today and just put a new one in and the starter won't engage. There's power throughout the car and everything comes on but the car won't start at all. I turn the ignition and nothing.

So I am thinking it can either be the alternator, or the starter. I don't think it's the alternator because as I said before the old battery still had some charge left into it.

So what do you think it could be? The starter? It makes the most sense because the car usually took a little bit of effort to start if it's been sitting for awhile.

Specs for the car are down below.

EDIT: I also noticed the positive battery cable was a little gunked up but not too bad. I am going to clean it up and see if maybe (doubt it though) that could be causing the problem. It was nice that it had enough juice to get me home though, saved me the hassle of towing it
