I am curious how this is apart of an SYE? I was to the understanding an SYE removed the slip yoke?? Also that part is listed as being for the NP231 t-case?

its the same spline as the 242
and it gives you two options
you can use it as a slip yoke with a double cardan joint
or modify it like gojeeps did for a SYE

So with this part you can run a stock cardon drive shaft without any further mods?

What drivetrain are you running that you think a front shaft will be too short? I'm running a front shaft in my XJ but I have that Spicer flange too.

you can use the front shaft in the rear up to about 8" of lift with out any issues. At least in all the ones I've seen..
