Like I said,it is hard for me to imagine it,but if it is not coolant, there is not much else it can be.

Ok... I've narrowed it down a little. Underneath the EVAP canister (the black can down and directly to the right of the washer fluid reservoir) there is a rubber hose that feels like it goes directly to the firewall. I stuck my finger up there, and the water coming out is cool, at "room temp."

What next??

(thanks again for all the input!)

That sounds like the A/C evap drain.

All I can really find on this is how to clear it when it's clogged... how about when it's the opposite, leaking profusely? Is there normally a pressure valve at the end of it that regulates flow?

I think we are at the point where a picture would help a bunch, the only place water can come from is your coolanteither through heater hoses or radiator and block,or a/c evap, this sounds like your a/c. Can you get us a picture?

You can't regulate the flow of condensation. If you stop up that line the water will puddle up in the HVAC box until it leaks onto the pass. side floorboard.

That's exactly why I don't want to cap the line. This link shows what I'm referring to, namely the last diagram with the AC drain hose coming from the evaporator:

http://autorepair.about.com/library/faqs/bl406i.htm

It almost seems like the evaporator is working in overdrive.

If you have a lot of humidity where you live, it basically is.

The good thing is it is no big deal,it is just condensation. I have never seen where the evap drain caused a vapor cloud though.

The vapor cloud doesn't come out of the tube itself, it comes when the water hits the exhaust. I Georgia, where I live, police can pull you over for blowing smoke like that ... and give you a fine for emissions violations. And it seems like a low of water is coming out of there.

I understand what is causing the vapor cloud,if you are concern about being pulled over, direct it away from your exhaust. I assume it is humid in ga,but even at that, you should not have this much water coming from the evap.

Well what would cause me to have this much water coming out? And how do I fix it?

I've thought about a way to redirect the flow. Basically, I was looking at just getting a hose extender and just adding about 8-10 inches of house that dangles down from the engine bay.

I have no idea why you have so much water coming from evaporator unless your system is just that cold that it condenses more than normal. I know ga is alot more humid than ca where I live,we see puddles under the cars from the a/c here. I would just redirect it and not be concerned.
