standard vs heavy duty springs
I need to replace my coil and leaf springs in my 1995 cherokee sport. On 4wd.com I saw that they have standard and heavy duty available. I am considering putting a tow package on later and am wondering what the ride quality difference will be between the two without a load. I am keeping it stock height. Thanks

just go to your local parts store and get some moog replacements, ride way better and are variable rate should cost under 90$

Variable rate coils will ride better, but heavy duty rear leaves will have a higher spring rate and ride a little rougher.

ok i will check out the variable rate springs. Right now the rear end of my truck drops hard on a bump with new shock absorbers. So I guess I will go for the standard leafs. Will they be okay with a tow package when i get it?
