Hey guys im kind of at a loss at the moment. My 90 xj runs fine for a while and randomly stalls and doesnt really like to restart right away. Ill wait a few min and it will restart kind of hard. Ive refreshed all the grounds, replaced the crank sensor, TPS, cleaned the TB, new distribuitor. I heard you have to adjust the TPS I havent done that but with the new TPS the issue remains the exact same. What else can I test?

 

Find Cruiser54 Renix tips for TPS adjustment, link is in his sig. As for the CPS, what brand did you put in? Aftermarket is notoriously unreliable with these.

 

I have a OEM CPS. Im really leaning towards the IAC due to idle being rough randomly.

 

You didn't mention a rough idle in your post...
But yes, a rough idle could be IAC related, but not so much related to random stalling and then hard to start.
IAC can be cleaned.
