Squelling when turning
My jeep squells when I turn even the tiniest amount, it started after I replaced the high pressure hose and the other hose on the ps pump.
I bleed the ps(I think, turned the wheel left and right 20 times checking fluid level every 4 times.
I've heard 2 main reasons why it's squelling, because there's air in the ps, and because the belt is slipping.
I tried tightening the belt and nothing, replaced the belt with a new one( stupidly without cleaning the pulleys) and still nothing, not even within the first 15 seconds of turning it over for the first time with the new belt it still squelled.
When I replaced the 2nd ps Jose the size was a tiny tiny bit bigger on the newer hose, but the clamps keep it snug so I don't know if that's a problem or not.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what to do now?
And if the belt is slipping because of ps fluid getting on the belt or the pulleys being "glazed", would you be able to visually see the slipping when turn or is it spinning to fast to notice?
And would having the belt too tight make it squell?
I'm out of ideas aside from buying a new belt and some brake cleaner

When looking at the pump area while turning the wheel, the pulley, pump, and air box all shake noticeably more than normal when I turn.
How can you diagnose a bad pump?
