Default squealing tranny

My '92 starts to squeal when i push the clutch in. when my clutch is pushed to the floor it lets a high pitched noise. once i let my clutch out alittle bit it will stop. i checked my clutch fluid and it was alittle low. i filled the fluid up and the noise did not go away. the noise is intermittened . it does it in 4 high and 2 high, i did not try 4 low. when it is squealing, and i push the gas, the noise gets louder and more high pitched. Thanks for any help...

might as well do it with the clutch, when you do a clutch you replace this also. remove the trans and do the whole shebang.

if you have the right tools/jacks stands, it's not that difficult, all depends on your mech. knowledge. lots of info on this site to guide you thru it. Have any buds that might help? give them a call, order some pizza and go at it.

also, have a transmission jack, makes it a hole lot easier. maybe you can rent one.

call a couple places for quotes, you'd be surprised at the price difference. pilot bearing, release bearing, clutch and pressure plate, do it all, once that trans is out. also, you may have to send the flywheel out for a grind.
