Ok so I just replaced the alternator, idler pulley, and the belt on my 91 Laredo. I can't get it to stop squealing now. Belt seems tight(maybe too tight not tight enough?), bolts are all tight and I put belt conditioner on as well. Doesnt really squeal while in park but does it when i push the gas. Any opinions to why it's still squealing pretty bad? Thanks

 

Try to tighten it. If it gets worse, loosen it.

Belts will squeel if its too tight AND if its too loose.

Its probably too loose, though.
