Just replaced the belt and everything was fine before...
Is my belt maybe too tight or lose?
With my luck I'm sure its way worse.

What if you have a problem similar to this, but it's more like a squeaky squeaky sound as opposed to a squeal? Seemed like cold air came out of the vents when I tried but, yeah I didn't like that noise so since I bought my XJ it's been 4x60 A/C all the way.
I can't tell if your being sarcastic or not. Anyway, water pumps can lightly squeak as they begin to fail. A new belt can squeak becuase they will slighly stretch as they break in. Do not use "belt dressing" spray. This is not always as easy as it sounds but you can use a small tube as use like a stethoscope to detemine the origin. Just be careful for the moving parts of course.

I would say dont tighten to get rid of the squeal. there is an OEM spec for belt displacement. Any more loose and it could slip, any more wqill stress ALL of your pulley bearings:
The Ac draws a decent amount of power. This demand can draw a shot in the alternator causing it to seize up. if your alt is old and your amp guage drops when it squals, then you need a new alternator.
otherwise, you could take the belt off and wipe it down (incase it got something on it), check your pulley faces and bearigs, reinstall. TIGHTN to OEM displacement
