So I get home last night cleaned everything to a T. The front of my motor lookd like it just came off the show room. The water test worked it quit the squeal. So got ANOTHER belt and put it on. Had the guys at the shop do it. And bam the squeal was gone......... Oh wait the squeal is back. So like Gore did i got the armour all out. Squeal gone and the arour all is in the glove box. Thanks guys for all your help I need to know that I was not crazy.

But be sure to keep check of how tight the belt is.

I realize this thread is 4 years old but it helped me tremendously. I changed my belt and the squeal wouldn't stop. I tried amour all and the soap trick but it only last a few minutes. I had to use a 3/4 driver extention approx 3 feet long in order to get the belt tight enough. Walah no squeak lol

Check your idler pullys and alternator for bearing drag. If any of them have sketchy bearings they could be the cause.
