Default Squeaky brakes

My brakes (I believe the back) we're squeaking. Sounded like they were due for a change. Today I went replace them and it turns out everything looked good. Shoes were very good and springs all looked good. No signs I overheating and based in the drums they seemed to be fine. I sprayed everything down with brake clean because of all the dust. Any thoughts? Think I should just not worry about it?

It's probably the front pads. Most people think the noise comes from the friction material against the rotor. It's actually from the backing of the pad against the caliper, usually the outer pad. The noise is caused from movement of the pad rubbing the caliper.

I've used the stuff called " brake quiet" which was a little tube of blue stuff. Applied on the back of the pads seems to keep the vibration/chatter down as the brakes area applied....
Some new pad brands have that stuff with them..

Its not that type of sound. It sounds like the shoes are down to the rivets.

I has the same problem and it turned out to be the drums were both bad out of round. When pulled off to have them checked neither of them would turn not enough left, had to have new one's. Never had this happen in over 50 yrs. of driving.
