When done right you are NOT less visible.

It is like having window tint, it gives your windows a nice look but still lets light in. When you use VHT it is a spray on tint MEANT for lights. Spray paint is not. Again when my running lights are on they are perfectly clear, when i put on my blinker they are perfectly clean, and when i put on my brake lights they are perfectly clear all from 500-600 feet in the bright AZ sun. (legal limit).

It has to be done right, but when done right gives a real nice blacked out look.

Absolutely right!

not saying you aren't. But 500-600 feet of clear visibly is plenty for ALL drivers. Just most don't actually use their blinkers when they should or at all...

And brake lights are still bright and a car 500 feet back is able to see your brake lights that is plenty safe.

yay! my idea worked! haha might as well give more install details on it:

1. ok remove the light (der!)
2. stencil the jeep logo by placing a piece of paper on it on running a pencil lightly over it in a toronado scribble kinda motion but hard enough so u can make up an outline
3. cut out the paper u just stenciled and lay the cut out jeep on top of the actual logo
4. with the cut out "Jeep" placed on the actual logo, tape it on the top with a piece of regular scotch
5. on your 3rd brake light lay down masking tape level and about 2.5" vertical height
6. finally lay down your traced logo centered on the light and cut it out! (i used a Xacto (sp?) knife but i guess a utility knife would work to)
