Spline count on my transfer case?
I am getting mixed answers on this from the web so i will trust in u experts out there...my gf has a 95 xj sport with the high output 4.0 inline six. I am trying to get a transfer case but dont have the affordable downtime to take it off to count them. If anyone can tell me the spline count into the transfer case with any amount of certainty i greatly appreciate it....Greg

Internet confusion
I have searched the internet and thats what left me confused. Equal sites say two different numbers. One says 23 other says 29 or something close to that due to it being a high output 4.0L engine....?thank you for your help...

They changed from 21 to 23 spline in 91 or so. You're good to go at 23.

29 is the spline count on the rear axle shafts on the late model c8.25.
you do have the 23 spline t-case shaft.
