Default Splash Guard?? Help

My girlfriend has a 97 cherokee and wants to wheel it with me. But her dad is convinced that she needs a splash guard that goes through the inner fender well to protect the engine bay from getting dirty. He wont let her wheel without it and I think I've searched the entire internet for one and cant find anything. He said it was on jcwhitney but once again no luck. Any help?

Thanks guys

Thru the inner fender well?????
Only thing I can suggest is taking an old inner tube and cutting it up. Use a couple of them funky ribbed push-pins to hold it in place.

Has her dad actually seen the inside of the wheelwells or under the hood....
A 97 engine would be dirty from factory...

Ya I dont really know what a splash guard is going to do other then protect the alt. Its not like you can get a splashguard for the entire underbelly of the jeep

Yeah thats what I said but he's convinced somethings out there to block mud from the engine. (so it doesn't get dirty) haha. But us and a couple buddies of ours are going to Rausch Creek next weekend and need something to fit his needs. Ill ask him about that sheet metal alt. cover Kyle posted and go from there.

Send him to US.
The membership here could set him straight (or make him run in terror)

There was a factory rubber splash guard on at least Renix Jeeps but I don't know if they are still available. Have been trying to locate a part number but as of tonight nothing has turned up.
