Default Spillage (Fuel)

If I take highway exit too fast or get even a little off camber, I spill gas. I can smell it, and I can watch my gauge drop if I sit on an obstacle. It seems like there should be some kind of safety/valve to prevent this in case of rollover, so is there something I can check to fix the problem? Is it normal? I've just been stopping for gas when the light comes on and filling to 1/2 tank.

First thing I'd check would be to see if the filler neck or vent tube have come loose from your tank.

Thanks. i'll take a look probably tomorrow. May end up replacing my gas tank when I get around to installing my skid. I'm worried I punched a hole in it somewhere.

Lol very nice. It'd be nice if he didn't make such a mess, though

The filler should have a ball type aperatis in it the prevents spills from a roll over and it should also work when cornering to fast, I think they were federal law around early 80's.
