What's up guys, I'm brand new to the forum and I thought I'd start with a question I've had about my jeep since I've had it.. (93 Jeep Cherokee Sport). The speedometer isn't working. Since I've had the jeep I've replaced the gauge cluster and just recently replaced the engine and the speedometer still doesn't work.

I've looked into some ideas saying it may be a faulty ground wire or the VSS... Are there any other possibilities? If not, any recommendations on where to get the parts and how to install? Mechanics around here have screwed me over for too long I'd like to start doing these jobs on my own.

Pull the VSS out of the transfercase and inspect the gear, it's only one bolt that holds it in. But first make sure it's even plugged in.
