Speedo Gear for larger tires?
I'm trying to figure out what size speedo gear I need for 245/75/16, it converts to a 30.5 inch tire. I have a 3.55 rear axle, and the part numbers I came up with were 33 tooth gear for 30" tires or a 32 tooth gear for 31" tires. As you can see I fall right between the two. So which one do I go with?
Also, does anyone know where to find cheap speedo gears? The cheapest one I found was $50. Seems like a lot for such a tiny part made out of plastic and a little bit of metal.

I read on here in an earlier thread that the dealers actually have a good price on them, I know Teraflex sells them too. Can't speak from personal experience as I have not done mine yet. Most my driving is around town and at 35-40 I'm not off enough to worry about it. I'd go with the 32 tooth for the tires your talking about.
