Speedo Cable Help
I'm currently in the process of fixing my speedo cable.. it snapped. Well i got the end on the trans off and now im trying to pull the cable out. Is there anything i need to unbolt first? it's already disconnected from the dash cluster. thanks

surely it must pass through a rubber grommet in the firewall. this will make pulling it from one end tough unless you lube the cable or pop out the grommet.

you'll have to pop out the grommet. but it has a plastic box thing under the dash, then another short piece of cable going to the speedo. you'll want to disconnect it at the plastic box thing to make it easier.
it is very tight and the cable goes through the firewall via a very difficult route.
keep your patience, that plastic box thing is brittle and the old cable may snap off there.
getting the replacement cable through may be even harder.
good luck, it's not easy.
