I`ve seen a few treads on this lately and am considering it..Can anyone who`s done this maybe give me the part number of what filter you ended up using?..Brand doesn`t matter as I can cross reference those numbers to the brand I can get..Thanks

I just used one of those Spectre cone filters that they sell at advance auto parts. They are with all the other parts you will likely need to make yourself a cheap intake, can't miss em...

From what I've read, the Honda Civic cone filter will work for a do-it-yourself cold air intake..

Really? http://www.airaidsales.com/AirAid-Co...akes-PRD2.aspx looks a lot like the home brew stuff but costs about 400% more than the DIY CAIs ($50 DIY and $200 for the kit). Now I'm not an intake guru by any means, but I just don't see what would make that CAI worth the extra cost. What do you know that I don't?
