Unhappy Speakers Issues!!

Today i started to put in new water proof speakers in to my 99 jeep cherokee limited. Only my left forward passenger side speaker works only. Really confused not sure what to do? I have the infinity amp in my jeep. I went off roading a few weeks ago they were all working, flooded out my inside blowing all of my old speakers giving me reason to buy water proof in the first place. Could it be the amp got to wet and blew, but why would only one speaker work. not sure what to do? Another thing this is a right hand drive due to the fact i live in the UK.

try opening and shutting your door while music is playing. the wires in the door could be frayed.

If you haven't already, take the speaker that you know is working and try it on the other side. It's rare, but you could have a bad speaker. Have you checked the amp to see if there was any damage to it?

Always run new 16 ga. wire, when installing new speakers. You have no idea, how many splices, or condition of the old factory wire. Not mention they are 18 ga. It's also possible that your amp got shorted, from the water.
