I put some sony x-plodes in and they are pretty cheap and give out pretty good bass, but then i also put in a sub, but if you don't havve the sound bar the rear speakers in the hatch are 5X7 just to let you know.

the xplods probably wont deliver an overly bassy sound, at least not the 5 1/4s that i have in mine. they sound fairly good at reproducing a fairly wide range of sounds, especially for the price you'll pay for them. if your looking for impressive you'll probably be relatively underwhelmed by any 5 1/4 inch speaker. i know that polk speakers in general deliver a fairly good low tone, they might be worth checking out.
